A Pellet Gun?

He pumps the pellet gun 4 times and takes an eye out. At the end of the movie they say its home modified. Still, the 4 pumps. And when he comes into the dining room, the people don't recognize the gun? Instead they all oblige to all requests made by villain. There is no way that could murder people. What the *beep* is this nonsense.

No one knew he had it except the cops. They reacted like any normal person would when faced with what appears to be a real gun.

Regardless of if he pumped it, a normal person would not know unless they have been around pellet guns.
