Coffin Rock is verrrry similiar and really well done but no glam rock

Talk Radio (1988) is about a radio show host who's being stalked on the air by a psycho listener.

Garage Days (2002) is mostly a rock n roll comedy, but like in this movie the guitarist is one seriously messed up individual.

"Misery" (1990) is about an author who meets his "biggest fan". That doesn't go so well for him.

"Killing Bono" (2011) is about U2's rival band whose jealous singer decides... well you can maybe guess from the title.

Although I haven't seen it, "Chapter 27" (2007) is a biopic about Mark Chapman who shot John Lennon.

On the lighter side, "Thunderstruck" (2004) is a comedy about a bunch of obsessed AC/DC fans who decide to spread their dead friend's ashes on Bon Scott's grave.

I see nobody has recommended 'Play Misty For Me', Clint Eastwood's first film as a director, where he plays a radio DJ who is stalked by a woman he had a one-night stand with, played by the marvelous Jessica Walters.

Now I rectified that mistake.
