Will someone please tell Sara Chalke to run a brush through her hair

I know this sounds lame but I am bothered by the fact that in practically every shot of Sara Chalke her hair is messed up. She is often seen with her falling out of ponytails a look that is mostly accomplished by laying down. Is this the female version of bedhead? Is it supposed to stylish? It is supposed to make her look attractive?
Please, someone tell Sara Chalke to use a hair brush once in awhile.

I thought the term "bedhead" implied it was a female. And yes. Lol.

Her hippie (show) mother (who happens to have curls) probably didn't put a big emphasis on brushing her hair as a child, and it's also a good way to emphasize that she doesn't have a serious life or career generally considered appropriate for her age.

Wow - I think her hair looks great all the time. So it's all a matter of taste.

I've never thought it was messy, so to speak, but she does always wear her pigtails and pigtail braids very loose. Honestly, when I was a child I used to wear them like that too, just because I have a very sensitive scalp so tightening them up all the way was painful. I don't know if it's supposed to be 'stylish' but it wasn't unusual to see girls of my same age wearing them like that from when I was a child until now.

But I also agree with another poster that it certainly well could be to emphasize her 'falling apart', if you will. How often do you see these strong business women with these extremely tight buns or pony tails? Loose or messy hairy is the epitome of a cliche that says that person is falling apart or doesn't have their s*** together.

Do you want her to look like she just stepped out of a beauty salon like the other fake unrealistic sitcoms?

totally agree. those junky pigtails are a nasty site. someone pointed out that it is probably a metaphor for her life but she could as least brush it when she shows up for work.
