Independent only to become dependent.

I am aware that in the American culure that after 18 or 20. you're supposed to move out away from your parents and thereby forced to pay the rent. When you pay rent it depletes your savings faster and so that could explain why they stuggle to pay future rent and the mortgage. Of course, that's why the get a higher paying by getting a different skill, a higher wage through a labor union which increases the probablility for a company to file Chapter 11 and maybe ask for a bailout, a higher minimum wage law, forgiviness of student loans, more credit cards, Social Security, Obamacare, etc. Ultimately, they would have to depend on the govt for help, something Obama believes, though I think he's right in saying, "You can't make it on your own." Either way, you end up dependent on someone but the difference btwn your parents and, say, the govt, is that your parents can at least teach you to be a better person while the govt just GIVES, GIVES, GIVES to get your vote.

North America culture has long ago turned many young couples into moochers. Even if they have good full paying jobs they try to snap up a house on the same street as the grandparents for around the clock babysitting.
