Actually I have all my teeth and hair. Maybe look besides what tv says,and see what gets spent by the majority of hunters and fishers. You would see they make more than enough money to go to the dentists also.
shareI'm hoping the show gets better as it goes along. If Cougar Town and New Girl can do it so can this one. I hear one person's comic sensibility at work and it's not the one that makes me laugh as much as I'd like.
First thing I'd do is have fewer and shorter scenes with the parents. The mother's crazy earth-mother routines go on endlessly and while I like Brad Garrett he's not naturally funny. A smile looks unnatural on his face.
More scenes with Sarah Chalke and pile on the physical comedy. She's very good at that.
And every episode shouldn't take the form of a major life lesson that's summed up at the end.
I think if it gets picked up next season will have a better budget to do stuff with. Would like to see more time with just Polly and Natalie. And time spent at the store more also.
shareYou may not have liked Til Death (I did), but if you have ever seen his standup (which is the field from whence he came), you would never say that again. The man is hilarious and the best thing about this show. I love Canadian actress Sarah Chalke, but she is playing Dr. Eliot Reid with an inferior cast. (Jon Dore?? JON DORE?!?!!?)
You don't have to worry; this show was cancelled. And yes, Elizabeth Perkins' character grated on me almost instantly.
Cougar Town is awful although New Girl HAS gotten better so you never know what could have happened to this show had it been given a chance.
hi is definitively a great comedian. too bad that he only gets so crappy roles. til death was terrible, this series is terrible ... what's next? :(

Actually Til Death was great for about two seasons. But it lost its way, and badly, and LITERALLY ended up parodying itself. I mean, a character says he is a character in a TV show with rotating Alisons? Yikes.
But it had some funny moments and I thought both Garrett and Joely Fisher were very good.
At least Kat Foster found work, on the bizarre (cancelled?) Goodwin Games.
