How could Genevieve not know that Rosie was the maid that Spence had an affair with and later married? Pablo was shot at the church and she got his kidney! She must have known all the details. I think the writers totally screwed up this scene.
shareNot necessarily. I don't Peg Genevieve to be the type of person to take an interest in Rosie and Spence. For all we know, Genevieve could just think Spence and Peri broke up and Spence got with Rosie. She probably piece together Rosie was the maid he left Peri for. I mean, Genevieve is very shallow. Do you really think she cared to learn the details. Plus, she and Rosie never shared a scene together. I doubt they even know each other.
shareI agree with everything you said about Genevieve's personality, but you think she would've known the circumstances of how she received her dear friend Zoila's, ex-husband's kidney. Her son was Valentina's date at the wedding too.
shareIf Genevieve wasn't at the wedding, which I can't recall, she wouldn't know. The maids are their own club. They dish to each other about their bosses, but not the other way around. Plus, much as I love Genevieve, she is extremely vain and selfish. She could have literally met Rosie a couple of times and forgotten who she is. Counter that with Spence, the nicest,most considerate guy in the world, who back in Season 2 recognized Marisol immediately as Rosie's friend and I dont't think they ever officially met. Maybe he saw the working together when Marisol was undercover as a maid.
