The voice casting director needs to be slapped in the head for hiring pauly perrette to voice Lois Lane! During the entire movie Lois sound like she had strep throat...almost ruined to movie for us.
No more Perrette!!...Lois is supposed to sound sexy, not sickly!!!

I didn't think she sounded THAT bad although I do agree she was the one weak part of the otherwise stellar voice cast. If they got George Newbern back, they should have grabbed Dana Delany, too.

I like Pauley Perrette on NCIS, but I agree, her voice did not suit Lane at all.

She wasn't the worst. That "honor" would go to Anne Heche.
Actually I just watched it again and thought she had a nice voice. Sexy even.

Wow, I am surprised by the negative reaction to the voice acting for Lois Lane. This was BY FAR my favorite voicing of Lois Lane since Margot Kidder in the original Superman movies.
Maybe that has something to do with my generation, who grew up with Margot Kidder as Lois Lane -- and Margot had a gravelly voice, which I always thought worked well for a smart, scrappy, confident journalist like Lois. I think Pauley Perrette is the closest to sounding like that, and I enjoyed it very much.
