This was made because of Social Network and Moneyball. If those movies weren't successful, this movie would have never been made.

People called the social network "The Facebook movie" and "how could you make a movie about that?!" Well they did and it was compelling. Moneyball same situation. I bet when Draft Day was announced everyone thought "how the hell can you make a movie about the NFL Draft?!"

I just saw it even though I had no interest in seeing it. Actually it was far better than I was expecting it to be.
