His wife

His wife isn't anywhere near as attractive as the actress who portrayed her in the film. That was one of the possible motives for his crimes; that he was part of a distant, sexless marriage with his wife.

Yes, it was ridiculous. The film was good, though.

According to people who investigated Russell Williams' crimes, he & his wife were very much in love with one another, & were very close.

Rape actually has very little to do with a need for sex. It's more about power (& Russell Williams was in a position of power, in the military).

Agreed, one of the big differences I noticed, it was ridiculous how different she looked in the film! They should have picked a different actress that looked like Harriman, considering they went to the trouble to have all the other characters resemble their real life counter part. Plus the real Harriman's appearance is important, as it relates to the story - she wasn't attractive at all in real life and it's could very well be at least some part of what motivated him to seek other women (other then that he's obviously totally messed up of corse!)

He wasn't very attractive either....I don't think Gary Cole looked like him. So what's your point? It's not always all about looks you know. You guys are being kind of creepy and making it seem that like the sick things he did are understandable because maybe he wasn't attracted to his wife anymore. That's disgusting. So it's the wife's fault. You know how many men how beautiful wives that are probably near perfect to them but yet they still go and have affairs, rape women etc?
