Why would you alientate half your fan base by putting in Todd Palin?

The Palins have become a total joke to even Republicans now.

Who the heck thought that would be a good idea?

You forget this is 'reality' TV. That in itself is alienating from all common sense TV viewers.

I had no idea about this show or who was on it (I download all tv shows, hate commercials), and so I saw this released tonight and was surprised to see Todd on it. I watched it, having no idea the negative wrap this show was getting before hand, and found it quite enjoyable. Also, Palin was an absolute badass and kept ahead of the SEAL or other special forces guys... maybe because they had to go through deep mud and Alaska has deep tundra terrains that he probably hunted it, and also going through deep snow. But any way you look at it, they filmed it in such a way that you can tell the progress of each team member clearly, especialy from aerial shots. And yes Palin was doing amazingly. I dont particularly care for the guy or Sarah Palin, but seeing this topic I just had to put my 2 cents in simply based on how well he performed during a physical challenge (versus years trained special ops guys!!). He may be no star, but maybe an average guy from Alaska is more fit and formidable than most of these celebs out there. Terry Crews made a funny comment about shooting a scene, and after they yell "Cut!", he gets a smoothie. Thats about how tough these celebs really are. He looks super buff because he works out to look like that, but it doesnt mean he has any real-world stamina due to his comfy lifestyle.

So because of your narrow-mind and limited point of view, you feel those with whom you disagree are not allowed to have a say in anything? Typical. And I find it funny how Todd Palin, being one of the older in the group preformed quite well....he earned quite a large number of fans....people who think actions speak louder than hate-speak.

The term is "potential audience," not "fan base." New show. Nothing has a "base" when it starts. A base is built over time.

You can stop pretending you know anything about TV, politics, or heck, even the English language. ;-)

Maybe not everyone is so political that they believe those whom they disagree with on politics are jokes. General Wesley Clark is a Democrat and Todd Palin is a Republican, so what? Both were there doing good for charities, you'd think we could put aside politics for that.

Well, as a REAL AMERICAN, I thought he kicked ass. Go have a smoothie and turn on your DNC convention instead.

Real Americans join secession parties, right?
