Did she really ask him if he killed anyone before? that was something you'd expect to come out of a 10 year old not someone her age lol

Maybe she just didn't know. I know people in the army that haven't killed anyone so it was a reasonable question.

No, its really not. You never ask anyone in the military that, just out of respect. Kids don't know any better, adults should. Killing someone is not fun, its not a sport, and its usually something people don't enjoy reliving...especially when you've prolly had buddies killed right next to you. It haunts them enough without having to answer stupid questions. It just shows you how out of touch society is with what our military does. They think its some video game.

The way they edit these shows there could've been a 5 minute conversation about things he's done in the military where she asked him that. I doubt she just asked it out of nowhere.

People shouldn't be afraid of their government. Governments should be afraid of their people.

Part of me thinks she was told to ask that question so that viewers could learn that they shouldn't be asking that.

Not everyone gets sensitive about that question. Chris Kyle volunteered that info himself, for example.
Laila's partner can gracefully choose not to answer it exactly as he did.
But the question should not have to be suppressed.
