About seven minutes in, a clip of John/Lenny in bed together is edited into the scene where Aunt Martha says, "But after my husband left..." although neither John or Lenny was ever her husband. Maybe, the filmmakers of this movie were going to reveal that Ricky's father had been gay.

Or she went nuts after her husband left. But maybe he did leave because she was nuts. Some dad. He should have stayed, if it was because she was crazy, for his son, if he couldn't get to take him too.
