"Australia could not have stooped lower" - says Wikipedia

"Australia could not have stooped lower" says one reviewer apparently.
Ain't that some sh*t? What was that guy's name, Professor Meanington Flitwatz Ninnynammer Horribton III?

I watched this on Netflix with the kids and was pretty happy with the movie. Bindi Irwin really impressed me just like her Dad always did - who is basically a hero to millions of kids and young adults including me. At least 2 full generations watched this grown man take a childlike interest in the natural world while showing it the respect it deserves -- and manages to get killed in a freak accident leaving behind his 8 year old daughter. She grows up to be a nice little lady with a promising ability to act and some Australian reviewer chooses to say that and provide no detail at all? I liked the movie ok, it wasn't the best but good God it deserved a little more of a fair shake than that.

I edited the Wikipedia page, ok. It was me. Don't care much if it is deleted, but at the same time I couldn't stand looking at that catty screed of a review. I spent about an hour gathering my sources and my thoughts and here's what I said about the movie:

"MetaCritic reports a 54% approval across 24 reviews. Common Sense Media reports the movie as (this movie, an) "adventure sequel is well-rounded, family-friendly fare." The MetaCritic User Review system, historically more lenient and generally in keeping with the tenor of word-of-mouth reviews across social media and family blogs reports a very favorable 8.7 or "Universal Acclaim" rating. It's difficult to establish a consistent review score profile this way and the film was not covered by large media reviewing houses. Among the target audience the movie was well-received largely due to the reception of Bindi Irwin's performance as the female lead, "Nim"."
