Mayte Needs Counseling Fast

1. She throws tantrums when she doesn't get her way.
2. She and Prince divorced after her sadly deformed baby passed and The Purple One couldn't deal with it.
3. She obviously had secret chimp lawyers because she has no financial support from Prince.
4. She can't get child support for a deceased baby.
5. She is jealous of those women who get financial support from their exes.
6. Sell those ugly dishes with Prince's Symbol on it.
7. Mayte, you don't get child support for an adopted child.
8. These are the reasons she needs counseling.

I agree with them all, except for maybe this one. Reason being, they could have tried again and had a gang of children by now if indeed a child is what he wanted. Prince might be an odd duck, but I seriously doubt that he is so cold and callous that he would divorce his wife over the death of their son, when it couldn't be helped. I can't quite put my finger on it, but something doesn't add up. Prince could have been a father long before he met Mayte and long since he divorced her. Again, I say that on the condition that he truly wanted to be a father. Maybe she tried to trap him. Maybe she knew he didn't want to have children and that was her way of tying herself to him forever and getting "Will Smith" kind of money. If that is the case, then she's angry because her plan failed miserably. What sane woman, holds on to china embossed with a symbol that is no longer used or even recognized by the very person that introduced it? I might keep a plate or two for novelty's sake, but an entire collection? Not me, unless she's been advised that it may one day become quite valuable. Even then, I wouldn't keep it in plain sight. There's just a lot of strangeness going on with her. She's absolutely psycho and a therapist would and could do her a lot of good, but I tend to believe she's just a bitter woman with no direction and a gross lack of self-awareness.

Prince appears to have a massive ego evidenced by the statement made by Andrea pertaining to the hasty divorce. Allegedly, he expects perfection in every aspect of his life, thus he had difficulty in accepting that this union produced imperfection. There may have been other mitigating circumstances but I do believe he can be cold. He is extremely talented, very eccentric, and vertically challenged. She needed counseling right after giving birth. Your points are well taken. She needs help as I type this response.

Prince doesn't seem to want children. It's part of what caused his second marriage to end. She didn't try to trap Prince. He started pursuing her BEFORE she was even of legal age. He wanted Mayte. She wanted a family. Prince did initiate divorce very quickly after the loss of their child. I think he went along with it until the baby died, but he didn't want to try again.

I think she hasn't really dealt with losing her child. It created a hole that has never healed.

Losing a child is no doubt extremely painful. It is time for Mayte to come to terms with her pain, be thankful for the blessing of her daughter, and let the love for her daughter help her to rise above the past and to a happier and brighter future. I think that Mayte is basically a nice person -- but as human beings, we all have strengths and weaknesses. One of her weaknesses has to do with not being able to accept the things she cannot change -- in others. As a passionate person, she does not handle this well. We cannot however stop other people from wearing fur even if we do not agree with wearing fur -- just as some will eat meat while others would not dare. Trying to control others and their choices only lead to confusion and conflict. Also, Mayte needs to learn to apologise when she crosses a line -- even if she tells the other person they should make peace and agree to disagree. Living in peace is much better than being at war.

It was nice when Nicole's daughter apologised to Mayte for stepping into a matter she should have kept out of. I thought that was very respectful of her in spite of Mayte's bad behaviour. This shows that this is a child who was well raised.

Mayte has a whole lot of growing up to do. She is too sensitive. She has built-up anger deep within that needs to be released for her own future happiness and emotional stability.

Agreed. That was quite classy and mature. I don't know if Nicole had a word with her before the cameras were rolling, but it was a good thing to do. No need to stew in the gutter with Mayte.
