Sheree is finally exploring her inhibitions

In the first 2 seasons, Sheree was this strict Christian who could not stop talking about her faith and scolding the other women if they did anything she considered un-Christian. But now she is getting tattoos and seem to be slacking a bit on her former way of life -- almost as though it had been a burden to carry such a strict load. I have seen this happen to a lot of people who decide to become Christians -- because they make everything a burden instead of simply relaxing and allowing the Master Potter to Mould them into wisdom, knowledge and wise obedience -- while never infringing this chosen way of life [for them] on others. I can't put my finger on it, but Sheree has drastically changed from the woman she was two seasons ago. If anyone else has noticed the change... please share your thoughts. Thank you in advance to all who read this and participate in the discussion.

reply

I noticed a change as well but I don't really like it. No I'm worried about it. I'm a Christian but I want to be carful in how I word all of this because I don't agree with being so uptight, so judgemental and so " holy " that people are turned away. With Sheree, my concern is that being a pastor's wife means many at their church (well other churches as well) are watching her. I'm not trying to stir a poop storm and someone may jump down my throat with this example but you said discuss. :-)

For example, Sheree is cursing more. Is she human? Absolutely! Have I cursed? Absolutely! Someone who's young in Christ may think, my pastor's wife curses and she seems ok, why can't I? Believe of, I dislike being scrutinized as a Christian because people think you're supposed to be perfect and we are human! I get it! Younger Christians may misinterpret that.

I was tickled when she took some " pill " that relaxed her because she was so relaxed. Being saved, we have feelings and emotions that may or may not be appropriate as well. Some people may think, " I can't believe a pastor's wife said that stuff!" We're human!!!

Now when it was time to be the pastor's wife, she was there (when she and her husband met with Brian and Andrea), though I would say she was also being a friend!

I don't judge her, I worry that others will judge her and younger Christians will assume they can do as her. Sheree is a seasoned saint and I can tell her relationship with God is strong thus she isn't likely to fall off but those not so strong may react otherwise.

The basis of being saved is that when we fall, we can go to God, repent and ask for forgiveness. We don't practice doing wrong but knowing that we're not perfect, we know we will make mistakes. When we do, we rectify by asking for forgiveness.

I love Sheree, she infuses love with humor, she meshes concern with care, she tries to live saved and represent being saved while being and knowing she's human.

I hope I haven't offended anyone and I hope I explained myself to the best of my ability after having 4 pain pills for my back. By the way, excuse my grammatical errors and autocorrect mistakes...I'm not going to proofread!! LOL

Cheena71, you expressed yourself beautifully! Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. I noticed the change in Sheree and couldn't help but wonder if others on this board have also noticed that she is different in behaviour from season 1 and 2.

Concerning the pain in your back... a natural anti-inflammatory you may choose to try is tart cherry. This is a natural anti-inflammatory that is is great for relieving pain. You may purchase it in the drink form or pill. You will be quite surprised how your pain lessens after drinking a little tart cherry. Here is a site I found that gives more info... there are others too of course: http://runnersconnect.net/running-nutrition-articles/tart-cherry-juice-for-body-pain-in-runners/

I will keep you in my prayers; I hope you feel better soon.

reply

Whew! Thank you! I'm glad you brought this up for discussion.

As for my back, I'm glad you told me about a natural antiinflammatory. Kidney failure runs in my family and my dad told me, stay away from the Motrin and anything in the family of. I've told the doctors I won't take those but that's all they prescribe pretty much.

Thank you and yes, please keep me in your prayers. I have fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, damage to my back from car accidents, flaring sciatic nerve problems to name a few. I go to the pool daily to work out and keep mobile but the pain rages daily!! :-(

Cheena71, I am truly sorry to know you are going through so much pain and health issues. Years ago, to remain thin as I had started my modelling career, I made sure to use sugar-free sweeteners and thought I was doing something healthy. Over time, my vision got blurry, I started becoming dizzy, and then the doctors told my parents that I had multiple sclerosis. I took loads of meds believing this was the issue... just to discover later that what I was actually suffering from was Aspartame poisoning. Thank goodness that a doctor I was introduced to suggested testing my hair follicles to make an accurate diagnosis. I was then detoxed of this poison and got my life back. But I remember the pain I suffered and the sense of loneliness and helplessness that took over my life. This experience led me to focus less on the modelling and more on medicine and how to help others. So please know that you are not alone. I will do all I can to advise in every way I know how. Also, my humble prayers will always be with you. Keep the faith no matter how dark the day because the sun will always shine again.

Without a doubt, inflammation is the root of your health issues. The human body is organic and should be healed as organically as possible -- without harmful drugs that do nothing but make things worse -- for they are synthetic. It is unwise to use something synthetic to cure something organic. So here are some tips for you:

1. Remove gluten from your diet immediately

2. Reduce your stress and keep a song in your heart no matter what, especially when stress is trying to get you down.

3. I would suggest that you have a hair annalysis test done to find out what your body is deficient in -- and then rectfy the problem. You may go to this site and Dr. Wilson can help you with this: http://www.drlwilson.com/index.htm.

4. Magnesium is a supplement you must include as a daily part of your diet: physicians recommend taking 250-300mg 2x daily.

5. Start having Flaxseed oil, this is amazing for what ails you. Almonds, cocoa, spinach, pumpkin seeds... these are also rich in magnesium

6. And for your kidneys... I suggest aluminum-free baking soda. Sodium bicarbonate dramatically slows the progress of chronic kidney disease. Keeping the body alkaline instead of acidic is very important. Here is a site to give more info: http://drsircus.com/medicine/sodium-bicarbonate-baking-soda/healing-the-kidneys-with-sodium-bicarbonate

Please keep in touch and let me know how you are coming along. I will pray for complete healing for you.

Many blessings along with a hug,
Jackie

I'm going to do my best at most of these. I admit, I use Splenda and like you, I thought it was best. The only thing is, I don't use it often.

I love pumpkin seeds. I know I need to juice but I don't like vegetables and that is a big problem for me. Honestly, I vomit when I eat most of them. I only eat spinach salads, salads, tomatoes and corn on the cob. I will have to figure a way to eat more because they are so much healthier than processed foods.

I go to the pool daily but like right now I have a bad headache. I have an appointment with a doctor but the problem had been I didn't have benefits so physical therapy, etc was nothing I could pay for.

Thanks so much for your info. I will try to adhere to most of it and take on more healthy foods. I'm applying for disability since physically I am extremely limited. I've got a couple more years or less before I hear about going to the disability hearing. It can be depressing because I had career goals, believed God for a healing, got my Master's years ago and was ready to work. This has definitely been a life change. I just want my quality of life to improve. Hopefully and prayerfully that will happen sooner rather than later.

Jackie ~ you've given her phenomenal advice!!!

It's SO inspiring to see you spreading this important information...it's usually just myself, and people looking at me like I have 3 heads! You're awesome. :-)

Cheena ~~~Due to a serious issue of my own, I've learned a lot in the past five years. (all well now)

I'd highly recommend NOT swimming anymore in a chlorine pool...chlorine is just a daily dose of poison contributing to immunity and inflammation issues. They put enormous amounts in public pools...that's why people get such red eyes and dried-out hair....
Our skin absorbs it all up like a sponge.
Also, getting a shower filter attachment will neutralize chlorine in the shower water.

Magnesium is crucial...magnesium citrate in particular (Natural Calm) and also, magnesium OIL used externally can do wonders. The most economical magnesium oil is by Swanson and can be found on Amazon for a good price. There are others that claim to be the best, but all the magnesium in these oils is sourced from the Zechstein Sea...so, it's all the same.

You can also buy the magnesium flakes from Life-Flo, 3 lb container, and make your own oil...really the cheapest way.

iherb.com/Life-Flo-Health-Pure-Magnesium-Flakes-Magnesium-Chloride-Bri ne-2-75-lb-44-oz/39710?gclid=CIOgvu6Qjr8CFQWTfgodp1sAbg&gclsrc=aw. ds

I also take Nutrex Spirulina in powder form and Nutrex Bio-Astin capsules (no bad fillers)....two miracles for me. Vitacost has the best prices for these.

I take everything in pure powder form or else it must contain NOT ONE filler.

Took me a long time to realize that the supplements I was spending thousands on were making me sicker. All forms of stearates and cellulose filler especially are the culprits.

Yes, gluten is a real problem, and the pesticides on foods.
Eat as organically as you can afford. Grass-fed butter and grass-fed beef is very strengthening and helps to heal the gut, our immunity and balances hormonal issues.
Great info on the Weston Price website:
goo.gl/gF8y93

Until the butter, I NEVER thought I'd stop losing my hair. It's growing for some time now....yay! (I get Kerry Gold Butter from Ireland).
Whole Foods and Trader Joe's has it....many local markets as well....call around.

...and wow, yes, aspartame and all the nasty MSG hidden in our foods is truly making the masses very sick.

Good info here: goo.gl/Eh5Cfp

You'd be amazed how quickly your body can heal once the toxins are removed.

Your body is just literally waiting to thrive, and you just need to give it little pushes....complete wellness is right around the next corner....truly.

You do not have to do ALL of these things to feel better....just focus on pure foods and avoiding the major sources of toxins....you will heal...then, as you get better, you can pick and choose which other changes might work for you.

I never thought I'd see light at the end of the tunnel, but it's here...and I want to share it with you more than you know.

Most importantly, if anyone, for ANY reason wants to inject ANYTHING into your spine...

I don't care if it's fairy dust....you say NO....

You will be told it's done ALL the time, that it is SAFE......this is a LIE....

This will be called a "pain block" or an "epidural",
yes, including those used during child-birth, or a "steroid shot", or a "CORTISONE shot." ...anything injected even NEAR the spine can be damaging....especially the neck, since the brain will be effected.

....drugs most likely used: Depo-Medrol and Kenalog....the manufacturers of these drugs say NOT to put this toxic crap in people's spines in their literature....BUT the hospitals do it anyway for profit and call it "off label usage", making BIG money per shot.

I almost died....I was bedridden for months. I was young and bedridden!

Five years of my LIFE gone in a flash, finding my way back to health.

Many end up in wheelchairs or commit suicide due to unrelenting pain.
They develop arachnoiditis. This one thing, I can't even write about because I'll cry all night at just the thought...you have to look it up.

Until this year, NO ONE barely ever spoke of this horrid practice of spinal injections and it's always SO normalized in the TV medical shows...yet, lives have been destroyed --- most are unreported!

Dr. OZ finally did a full show on this topic and it has gained some exposure.

Tell everyone who will listen....
NO injections of any kind in your spine....
tell them, you just might be saving a life.
goo.gl/LtwWkm <<< Dr. OZ

I know I might sound like a mad-raving person, since this is just so, so much info...
but I mean well and what I went through riles me up with passion for healing and also anger at the medical establishment that leaves us vulnerable and helpless, when what we really need is to get back to basics...nourishing ourselves to wellness.

Many Blessings to you Cheena!

Can you recommend a good multivitamin that isn't mostly chemicals and fillers?

reply

Yes, all of the multi-vitamins by Garden of Life contain zero fillers and are food-based nutrients, rather than synthetic vitamins. The whole line is great.

Vitacost.com has the fastest shipping on the East Coast.

Iherb.com would have faster shipping on the West coast.

The Garden of Life line is sold at Whole Foods Market...but they have the highest prices of all, so I always use online merchants who have free shipping offers.

I use the one called Vitamin Code for Women...they also have one called 50+ and wiser for mature women.

Here's more info from the company:

Yahdancy ~ You are so kind...It really is my pleasure and thanks for not minding that all of this is way off topic from your post!
You are very giving yourself -- beautiful both inside and out.

reply

Freedomforall, even your name describes you and your heart. :). I thank you for making this topic even more important and meaningful but sharing your knowledge of health with those here. Instead of fighting over different opinions as I see so much on these boards at times, we can use a topic like this and come together and be of one mind and focus.

I want my life to mean something, and my actions here on this earth. I have suffered a lot with my health due to bad medicine and harmful sweeteners -- and now I shout it out to the world to warn all I know.

My mother died in 2010 after being diagnosed with lung cancer -- but she did not have lung cancer. They gave her radiation treatments and charged plenty -- yet it was not even what was ailing her. Her death was in vain, and now I wish that I had protected her more. I miss her so much!

The medical boards do not look out for the patients or loved ones of patients. Oh no, they protect the doctors -- even when the doctors are wrong or cause harm to us or our loves ones. We need to stop with all this reliance on doctors and start getting to know our bodies. We need to research how to heal ourselves as naturally as possible. It is a fact that 4 out of every 5 persons who enter a hospital will die. How can this be? This is cause for serious alarm!

I cannot stress this enough to those who read his... never leave your loved ones alone if they are hospitalised. Always have someone there with them -- an advocate. Ask questions and make sure that every medication given to your loved one and the dosage is printed out and given to you daily. And, if a doctor does not show you proof of your illness or the illness of your loved one and tries to talk you out of a second opinion... this is a serious sign of trouble. Get out of that hospital immediately or remove your loved one immediately. "Do the patient no harm" is nice sounding but not always true -- not on today's medical world. If the patient is over 60 and on Medicare... then be even more diligent, watchful, and an even more passionate advocate for that loved one whom you cherish. This site will give more information on hospital dangers: http://www.forbes.com/sites/leahbinder/2013/04/09/the-most-dangerous-place-in-the-world/

All my life I have been considered beautiful. But I am so thankful that my true beauty has always been my heart. My capacity to love is what defines me. There is nothing more beautiful than having a kind and gentle spirit, always humble and wanting to bring peace to all those whom you meet. This is what I do.

I thank each of you on this board for sharing your thoughts on so many topics. And thank you for allowing me to share in conversations with you. You are all amazing! :).

I am sincerely sorry for the loss of your mother, Yahdancy.

I wish all of you the best.

Thank you very much, HERSHE. July 10th will be the anniversary.

I am sorry beyond belief for the loss of your dear Mom.

You had no idea what was going on at the time....As hard as it might be for you....forgive yourself....you really did do the best you could for her at the time. I truly believe she is still with you in eternal love and spirit.

Your life already means something. You've endured a great loss and are already looking for ways to spare others the pain you felt and witnessed.....that's transformation and loving and courageous. You are truly a special person.

Yes, hospitals are dangerous places....many books have been written on misdiagnosed and mistreated patients.....people are waking up.

A good interview is here: articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2012/03/31/dr-andrew-saul- hospitals-and-health.aspx
"The lowest estimate makes hospitals one of the top 10 causes of deaths in the United States...The highest estimate makes hospital and drugs the number one cause of death in the United States."

Have you heard of Justina Pelletier? Not very far from where I live, a teenage girl was held against her will, scared, suffering, and isolated from all family for over a year and 1/2, at the Boston Children's Hospital and then in Connecticut....a crazy story, yet not so uncommon and it could happen to any parent who is naive enough to trust the "authorities" at the hospital.

It was making headline news in EUROPE even before the dumbed-down American media would give Justina's case the attention it deserves.

Dr. Phil got involved and did a big show about it and I have no doubt that it was a huge pressure on the corrupt medical system for him to expose this case to the masses who might have been unaware of this type of evil-doing....so I really admire Dr. Phil for going up to bat for her.

No parent should be at the mercy of this kind of corrupt and controlled power system:

facebook.com/pages/A-Miracle-for-Justina/253343311469595

I've been following this case from the beginning and am happy to say that as of two days ago Justina is free after her 16 month "prison" sentence.....

Thank you for the Forbes link....that's very good information.

I hope you're having a great day today Jackie!

I have noted the change and it has personally made me like her more, because it seems as she's being true to herself. I am religious but it gets tiresome to see and hear what she was doing Season 1 all the time. That's not how a lot of us act in our comfort zones. I think she may have received this criticism. I don't think the use of swear words or voicing her opinion is wrong or misrepresentative of who she and her husband are either; I just hope she didn't get in too much trouble with him for saying who she'd "give some to" when she was turnt up, lol!

Oh man. It seems like everything man-made or processed poses hidden and not so hidden potential threats. I agree that natural foods work best for the body. Sadly, it costs more money to eat healthy.

Thanks Yahdancy, Freedomforall, Cheena71 and everyone else who has posted such wonderful tips and testimonies. Your stories, suggestions and support are greatly appreciated. I've been coming back and revisiting the priceless information shared.

If I can think of any helpful tips I'll post mine as well. One thing that works but can be so hard to do is staying away from sugar and foods containing wheat.
