You have no idea how depressing that is. This is a legitimately fantastic show and it's heartbreaking how Disney decided to treat it, not only by cutting it short but how they seemingly abandoned it as it was ending.
Unless I'm misunderstanding your comment. Either way, it was a mistake cancelling this show. It's the definition of an underappreciated gem.
