My 1980s weren't that exciting

I guess it is just me and most of the people I knew.
But I was a teenager in the 1980s and there was no sex, no drugs, no rock'n roll.
Just rubik's cube, donkey kong, homework, someone once had a sip of beer, a sony walkman and pop music.

I agree. I was a teenager in the 80s too and liked the 90s much better. I couldn't stand the horrendous fashion of the 80s.
The style n this movie isn't really 80s. Some looks more like early 70s.

Yeah I did feel the movie had early to late 80s all over in fashion. Kinda glad they didn't make it too ridiculous thou. They didn't mention the year in it did they?

Really? I thought this film seemed so lame in many ways for an 80's film. It seemed more like the set and clothing style was from the late 70's as well. The 17, 18, and 19 year old kids in the film seemed more like 12 to 14 year old kids emotionally. Perhaps because most of them either had child abuse or functional issues. What was most out of place though was the 90's slang here and there throughout the film. I was an 80's kid,(Teen)too and I played lots of Donkey Kong, but I could never find time for homework. Come to think of it, I was pretty much finished with Donkey Kong by the time I was a teen. Mostly all I can remember from the 80's is the sex and the booze and the rock n' roll. A good bit of drugs too, but thankfully I always stayed away from the hard drugs.

My body's a cage, it's been used and abused...and I...LIKE IT!! [Evil2]
