So that intro with the skull fading in was pretty awesome. And reminded me a lot if Halloween.

Yes, the intro credits were definitely an homage to Halloween. Too bad it was the best part of the movie.

And that preacher on the truck's radio was a cut from the remake of "Dawn of the Dead", done by Pete (Ken Foree) from the original "Dawn of the Dead"
