I think the jurors in this case...

should have had their kids taken away (if they had any)... they are obviously too stupid to raise children. Anyone that thinks Casey didnt kill her kid is an idiot or as disturbed as she is.

The reason Casey got off is that the evidence in the case didn't support it. It's not because evidence outside didn't. In the American legal system, you can only charge someone for what is presented in court whether or not you believe that they are innocent. Sorry, but that's life.

I think the evidence is obvious... what else could have possibly happened? Even this drowning thing makes no sense. No one that loves their kid and finds they have drowned would then throw their kid in a garbage bag and go throw her like trash for the bugs and animals to eat. That person would be trying to give CPR (even if they knew it probably wouldnt bring them back) and call for help and not want to leave their childs side.

Quoting this from Tampa Bay Times:

Juror No. 2 remembers when he sat down with his fellow jurors on Monday. Finally, they could talk about the trial that had consumed six weeks of their lives. Finally, those in the jury room could ask themselves the question the rest of the world wanted answered:

Was Casey Anthony guilty of first-degree murder?

"Everybody agreed if we were going fully on feelings and emotions," the juror said, "she was done."

But the 12 jurors from Pinellas County knew that feelings and emotions alone were not enough to decide the fate of the young Orlando mother accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony.

"We just wanted to go on the evidence that was presented to us," he said.

But there just wasn't enough evidence to convict the mother of murder, Juror No. 2 said in an exclusive interview Wednesday with the St. Petersburg Times.

"I just swear to God …," he said, his voice falling silent, overcome by tears. "I wish we had more evidence to put her away. I truly do …

"But it wasn't there."

This proves they are stupid and cant put 2 and 2 together. People this dense could have watched Casey kill Caylee and someone tell them "well maybe you were hallucinating or maybe aliens took over Casey's body and made her do it" and they would have said "well maybe that is possible".

I agree that they were too stupid, 9 out of 10 people who have common sense knew she killed that little girl. Their reasoning didn't match up with common sense and to me the evidence pointed to her.

When people are found innocent in a trial like this where the defendant is clearly guilty, who do they think did it?

reply

That's what I wonder. Who else could have done it?

The evidence in this case? Um, what about the constant crap from the defense....... "uh, yeah, uh, oh!! Daddy dearest did it!!" ..... and on and on. The defendant is a victim in this and not the dead child is appalling to me. There are so many talking heads on tv that said there wasn't enough evidence to support any of the charges, yet the defense was nothing but a frickin' clown car. Yet, the jury does not see through that? There was a charge of neglect in there, and the jury didn't even see that? Corrupt.

reply

Yeah, something is not right here, it's like everyone could see she was guilty but these 5 jurors were either too inept or they bought into the ridiculous case the defense presented which didn't make sense. It's almost as if the jury refused to believe she was guilty.

I heard at the time they did not like Jeff Ashton, but they liked Jose Baez. That just shows what a bunch of morons they were not to see thru Jose Baez.

reply

I don't know how any person with common sense would like Jose Baez over anyone!! The whole defense team was unlikable imo!!!!

reply

Yeah, I think I heard about that. He must have been juicing them up every morning, being extra friendly. Just listening to those jurors, they seem to reject such overwhelming evidence and then say sorry that's not enough. What did they want, a videotape of the murder and a confession?

Never undersestimate the stupidity of those too stupid to get out of jury duty!

reply

Juror #3, just listen to her. I was like wow, no wonder Casey got off the hook.

furthermore I think if Casey ever kills again each of the jurors should sit in prison with Casey because it will be their fault she is out and able to commit another crime.
