Motive

So let me get this straight. According to the prosecution, Casey's motive was simply "to have a better life"? That is just absurd. No wonder they lost the case.

The whole case was based on nothing. The prosecution had no evidence at all against Casey. Just a lot of made up sh!t. She is a party girl so she killed her kid. The defense was excellent. But, the media already had her convicted. It was conviction by media. How wrong they were. Casey Anthony is Innocent!

Yes I understand that now. To make up a motive like that seemed ridiculous. As if a mother would kill her kid to party and have a better life. I am surprised the prosecution just didnt come up with delayed post natal depression?? Would have been more plausible.

Casey's Lawyer Jose Baez wrote a book about her case. It's a very good Book. Don't pay attention to the bad reviews. the bad reviews are written by trolls.

Many parents have killed their kids because they wanted to be young and responsibility free again. I.e. to "have a better life". I think it's odd that people state that no parent would kill their kids so they can party considering the many other kids whose parents didn't want them when they weren't fun anymore. Some just leave like our father but other kids aren't so lucky. I personally believe she did it because she did party when her daughter was missing and she happened to die while Casey's parents weren't going to look after her for Casey (so she could be responsible). What a coincidence it happened then and then she went out doing the unempathetic party thing she loved while her daughter (a human being) rotted until her parents wanted to know where the little one was and suddenly a story had to be made up.

Do you have any case examples where parents have killed their kids for this reason?

Here's Casey's real motive. She had lied for years about having a job. She stole money from everyone around her: her family, her friends, her daughter's piggy bank, her grandfather's nursing home checking account, etc. The walls were closing in on her. The night before Caylee was murdered, Casey's mother (Cindy) went to visit her father in the nursing home and was told by her mother that Casey had stolen from them once again out of the grandfather's nursing home checking account. Cindy's mother wanted to go to the police and report Casey, but Cindy told her mother that she would handle it. Cindy went home and had a huge fight with Casey. According to Casey's brother (Lee), the fight had gotten to the point where Cindy had her hands around Casey's throat and was chocking her. Cindy told Casey that they were going to sue her for custody of Caylee and kick Casey out of the house. None of this could be presented at trial because once Casey's family knew that Caylee was dead, they all closed ranks and started covering up for her. If you review the documents from the case, numerous people talked about this exact situation, but the prosecution couldn't present it as such because it would be considered hearsay unless Casey's family would have testified to it, which they wouldn't. I do think the prosecution showed that Casey and Casey alone was the only one who benefited from Caylee's murder. She was very young and did not want to be tied down with a toddler, but she didn't want her parents to have Caylee either. Obviously the Anthony family was very dysfunctional. Casey was the only one in the family evading everyone and lying about Caylee's whereabouts. She partied for the 30 days Caylee was missing, and when her friends asked where Caylee was, she would tell them that she was with her parents. Her parents and her brother were trying to track down Casey during those 30 days, but she kept avoiding them. Casey was the one who partying, stealing money from her friends, entering "hot body" contests, getting a "bella vita" (the beautiful life) tattoo, etc during the time Caylee was missing.
