Really? Derrida in the early 1950s? His earliest work of any substance was around 1962 (the critique of Husserl, if I remember correctly).

I don't often spot these howlers, so I thought I'd share this one. Sorry if a bit of fun (at the expense of screen-writers, one of whom admitted they hadn't read the stories!) comes across as pedantry.

One of the writer admits he did not read the Father Brown stories before he was commissioned to adapt them for tv.
