There are a few strange things in this episode - the new Queen and why did she marry a Greek seems to state that the episode is set in the early 50s - she was Queen from 1952, was married 5 years before that and had Charles in 1948. One of the lines about Christmas Day was going home to watch the Queen - the first TV broadcast was in 1957 so hardly the new Queen and finally a 'red card' is referred to as with a red card at football - that certainly didn't happen till about the 80s or even 90s - little research might help.

There seems to be a lot of nitpicking about this episode. I watch FB for pure enjoyment, not a history lesson. I was totally taken by everything in it, including yelling at Nanny. However,as I watched, the tears flowed. I am not so sentimental a person, but this one really got to me. And if there were research errors, so be it. A truly beautiful and touching episode!!!
