Sorta Cusack's magnificent performance as Mrs Mc CARTHY! Does she not make you smile as soon as she appears on the screen? And all those little mannerisms and subtle looks with her knowing looks and arched eyebrows! She is a joy to watch this performance is both delightful and masterful SHE IS Mrs McCarthy BRAVO SINEAD hope you win some awards you deserve it!

shareOn BBC1 they repeated the voodoo episode today I find her expressions priceless.......when her Bakewell tart was offered to the voodoo god she really cracks me up. But it is true they are all very good in particular father brown himself! For me, the one over the top performance is the detective, perhaps it is the script where he jumps to the wrong conclusion every time. I find his performance a tad pantomime
