Depends on what you like

This movie is not a classic or a master piece that paid reviewers are trying to make you believe. Its just another mindless bollywood pot boiler with better costumes and visuals. You may enjoy this movie if plot holes and poor characterizations do not bother you. Don't go expecting something sensible. it is loud, illogical, meaningless festival of colors and violence. nobody understands why the characters behave the way they do. the entire movie could have been resolved with a single phone call. and oh, please don't watch with kids if you are sensitive about what they watch and hear. and please don't take your family if you are any kind of "traditional" Indian. The movie is offensive to families, women, reason, and anyone who has any standards or expectations from a bollywood movie.

Haha i was literally with my whole "khaandaan" man. What an absolute torture that was for me as a young guy. While i was sitting with my small cousin, he was gulping in embarrassment with each kissing scene and chichoray dialogues. I can't believe the route Indian filmmakers have taken to sell there movies with so much of exaggerated romance which seems like American porn films. I mean, Leela getting horny and kissing Raam in the first meet, now how awesome is that?

Here in India it is rated U/A. Film board here works for money.

spot on. this movie is an absolute waste of time, p!mped by the paid critics. this felt like a s0ft p0rn to me. the lines were cringe-worthy: "tu lover to mai killer." "xyz maja ma to gila pajama". ok then.

it was mindless and illogical. the main character whatshisface came across as a clown not knowing what exactly to do during scenes. move over, RGV; you have been displaced by bhansali.

so true! Ram leela is an absolute torture to your senses. Bhansali never used too much violence in his movies, nor did he use too many cringe-worthy lines which are vomit-inducing like "dhoti geeli karoge" and stuffs like that. too many sexual references and double-meaning dialogues. what on earth was Bhansali thinking? was he drunk when he made Ramleela? bhansali should remember that the formula of a good film only lies in its content. designing a grand set and building larger than life situations and characters do not make a good movie. Ram leela was a great insult to audiences!

Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela is certainly a film that demands a large suspense of disbelief. It is melodramatic to the point of ridiculousness with laughable sequences, poor characterisation and excessive amount of slow-mo editing for the sake of tension.

I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.
