Ram is probably one of the most poorly written characters in the history of Hindi cinema. Throughout the movie, we don't even know what this character is out to achieve. A totally unbaked character it is! He sells porn DVDS but hates violence. He beds every girl of his village but speaks against rape. I mean why is this character so inconsistently written? He loves Leela and is eager to fight for her with the rest of the world. Then why did he suddenly cut off all communication with her. What is Ram's purpose in life? To be in love with Leela or to serve as the leader of his clan for the rest of his life? I have never seen an incomplete character like Ram in any movies that I've seen.

It's bollywood bro, they giv a damn about character development, etc.
It was purely Ranveer trying to show that he is cool, he can sing, he can dance, he he has six packs, he can go shirtless, he can bed any female, etc.
Most of the new comers go thru all this *beep* even if the script doesn't demand.
Also the mindset of certain Indian audiences, hero can sleep around n sell porn (it's cool) but if a villain does it, it's mean.

Purely self indulgent crap like most new comers.

A person who has health has hope n a person who has hope has everything.
