I absolutely hate the little girl

What a little brat!

I would never have tolerated her keeping MY dog.

I don't care how many tears she would have shed.

And it certainly wasn't fair to the dog. With that kid, the dog's existence would have been a "learning experience" - meaning she might have done any number of things that would have resulted in harm to the dog: forget to feed him, let him off his leash accidentally, etc.

With the dog's original owner, on the other hand, the dog could enjoy his regular routine, not to mention the maturity of the original owner.

(Although I thought the original owner was somewhat neglectful as well, leaving the dog to his own devices while the owner traveled out of town)
"Don't call me 'honey', mac."
"Don't call me 'mac'... HONEY!"

I started watching this movie when it was already in progress so I guess I missed all the fun in the beginning. What I want to know is who is this gorgeous guy ? He kind of looks familiar ! Was he possibly in a soap opera ? Anyway, I will look him up ! Don't see any of the little girl now. The romance has started and may I say Candace Cameron Bure looks gorgeous ! She has grown up beautifully !!!!!!

Victor Webster played Nicholas Alemain on Days of Our Lives for awhile. He was also in the movie 'Must Love Dogs' with Diane Lane, he played her gay friend. I liked him in this role better. Very good looking man.

Knock if off Napolean make yourself a dang quesadil-la!

I was actually so disgusted by this plot point I quit watching and deleted the movie. I cannot believe any parent would expect somebody to let them keep their dog for a few days so they can adjust. Gag me.
