Well, we liked it.

My wife and I enjoyed it completely... almost.

Coulda done without the secretary getting so brutalized and then the very, very near rape of the other chick.

Still, to establish the level of violence, actual and potential, it al least was not gratuitous.

De Niro just about lost it going "full gangster" upon entering room 14. That scene really drug on with the ham-fisted sardonic questioning.
Like a nightmare version of Reservoir Dogs and Peschi in Good Fellas. Fortunately, Cusack anchored the scene during De Niro's cliched BS delivery.

Glover was a joy to watch. Talk about your scene stealing! Normally, we can't stand him.

Anyhow, we enjoyed it and didn't once think of halting it or fast forwarding even though we started it much later in the evening than we are used to.

It made us stick it out and we weren't disappointed either.
