Blandings is hugely enjoyable I love the cast especially Jack Farthing who is wonderful but Timothy Spall and Jennifer Saunders are also a joy to watch.
It was a pity to lose Mark Williams but Tim Vine is almost as good.

Totally agree! This stuff is genius!
I was so disappointed with the BBC adaptation of Wodehouse's Jeeves with Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry and was kind of wary of looking at this one with actors I'm not familiar with but wow, the whole cast is perfect and it's absolutely hilarious. This is the best film adaptation of P. G. Wodehouse I've seen to date.

I found this series on dvd at a local library, and when I saw the cast included Jennifer Saunders from Ab Fab and Timothy Spall from Mr. Turner I knew it was going to be great! And I was right! The first episode about the pig contest had me in a laughing fit. Too bad there are only two seasons! I love the series.
