Jeremy's character TOTALLY different ?

I just watched a couple episodes from season 1 and I had totally forgotten that Jeremy started out as a cool, suave ladies man. He is shown seducing women and effortlessly charming his way out of situations. Danny even remarks that he is jealous because "everything comes easily" to Jeremy. Now he is so pathetic and seems to be the butt of jokes. I remember he got fat for one season, but subsequently lost the weight. When and why did they decide to completely alter his character? Did anyone else notice this?

The explanation for his character change was that he became acting managing partner and it was so much stress that he became whiny and ate too much.

I preferred the previous Jeremy.

The same happened with Peter too. He was a total "Bro" in the beginning, but suddenly morphed into a loser.

I was thinking the same thing, I wish they would give him better story arcs. I miss the old suave Jeremy. I feel he's really under-utilised given his character has been there from the outset.

It's too cerebral! We're trying to make a movie here, not a film!
