Trach/vent

As a peds trach/vent nurse, it is possible for children to learn to talk with a trach but it is not common for an adult to talk with trach and if an adult can make verbal sound, it is not clear speech at all.
It is impossible to talk while on a ventilator. And by attempting to talk while on a vent would set off the high pressure alarm

yeah I work with vents and trachs all the time. Movie had major issues with that that's for sure.
1. it didn't look like a vent looked just like a trach with humidifier tube
2. if was a vent you cant talk on them
3. generally need suctioning on them as well which wasn't shown at all
