Thinking about this movie tonight it occurred to me , , this is how the borg could have started. Star Trek borg.

I thought that same thing, the whole "Hive Mind" concept.

If you like to read and are a Trek fan I recommend the Destiny series. Three part paperback series and a good read, swift material for a three part series. It incorporates elements from TNG, Ent, DS9 but not much of the TOS.

Haha me too. Its almost Star Trek canon for an origin story. Even down to the nanobots.

I was thinking that too. esp when the contractor had some metal on his head. If the Borg showed up they may skip Earth and say we have already been assimilated.
