Montana is quite good

Montana was quite a good student-mentor tale, highlighting the importance of love, bravery and loyalty while showcasing two characters that had a strong father-son type bonding. Relationships are firm and there are entertaining shoot outs/fight scenes in this movie to keep you engaged. This turned out better than I thought.

Not bad at all.

Q: who was the guy that ripped Montana of the money!? Did the film wrap up that thread!?!?

Overall, I enjoyed the realism brought by LM . . . the Mr. Miyagi transfer of knowledge is quite incredible but hey, that's what a movie is meant to be right!?

Yeah, it was the guy who got shot in the head by Montana, while he was wearing the night-vision goggles at the final shoot-out in the garage. - They didn't make it quite clear that it actually was him who took the money though, which kinda annoyed me a bit. But apparently he did it under orders from Ryan & Pitt, who had to pay off the two dirty cops, while framing Montana (whom Pitt disliked for some reason).

I liked it better twenty years ago when it was called "Léon: The Professional".
