No Nunez or Peck?

Is it a slap in the face to Chris and Oliver that they weren't featured or even talked to in this doc? They act, and are supposedly regarded by the contestants on Ink Master, as respected artists and innovators in the tattooing industry. Thoughts?

From the trailer it looks like they only focused on the tattoo movement in LA. Did Chris work in LA?

Just because they're judges in a well known TV show doesn't necessarily mean they've made a major contribution to the tattoo subculture. Oliver Peck is a veteran tattooist and his focus in American Traditional, during its peak in popularity, there must've been many artists all tattooing that same style, from the same designs. American Traditional is very simplistic, and it wasn't so innovative.

Chris Nuñez isn't even that great, look at his portfolio and you'll see some of his work is up to par, or even worse than some of the contestants from Ink Master, he's not the tattoo god that his TV show makes him out to be.

This documentary focused on a brief history of tattooing in the US, and a major focus in the Los Angeles tattoo culture. The artists featured in this doc were all innovative to certain styles, and it showed the evolution and acceptance of those styles.
