That was a stand out cringe-worthy scene in a film with loads of cringe-worthy scenes. Still, the film itself is brilliant.

I was cringing before he walked in for the audition and it went downhill from there.

I laughed when she said, "We'll be doing callbacks. That was funny."

I'm sure it was an editing decision, but the audition must have been awful or that dude would be ticked that it was portrayed that way. At first I was thinking, "What is she blind?!?!" Then I realized...who is going to tell a dude that big that he sucked at acting? Better to say, "We'll be in touch." LOL.

Definitely a hard scene to watch...

What a surprise. Turns out acting is quite hard, and not everyone can do it. Weird, huh?

i wouldn't say loads of cringe-worthy scenes. The audition definitely was, but what other scenes did you feel were cringe-inducing?

I was most probably just being a bit hyperbolic. It's a while since I saw the film, but I remember feeling weirded out by the whole body-narcissistic mentality of the competitors, even if it is part of the package. I'm not a body builder myself, and was just curious about the scene, and this film delivered in that regard. If I were to name a scene, I remember the one where one of the competitors fell off a horse. Really surprised he broke no bones there, and I definitely cringed, from pain empathy.
