Branch's Horse Karma

Boy, my jaw dropped when I saw him fly off of that god damn horse SECONDS after talking about injury. It's not funny....but I can't help but laugh my ass off when I think of it.

That was some funny *beep* ...lol
" I ain't been injured since 2003" the horse be thinking " that's about to change *beep* ...loool

reply

He said that he hasnt been injuried inside the gym since 2003, but other injuries have occured outside it. The answer to that he is working out too heavy.

reply

Was that scene for real? The irony was absolutely absurd. I bet the producers loved it.

reply

That horse must like living dangerously, bucking off someone that probably needs to consume a huge amount of animal protein everyday.

reply

It's probably at the glue factory as we speak.

Hamstrings aside, how he didn't break any bones shows all that muscle must have turned his body into a big crash test dummy.

reply

Horse's spine was probably giving way, there's a reason you don't see a horse riding another horse

reply

Seeing him about to ride that horse away i was thinking this dude just looks to heavy for the horse, then the horse buckles and not only does he fall but he falls on the concrete walkway. that whole scene was too unintentionally funny.

Interesting

Exactly my thoughts. Those body builders are around what? 270-300 pounds? Too much for a horse that isn't a draft horse to carry comfortably. Then boom. Karma.

My life tends to be shaken, not stirred.

That whole scene was pure gold...you couldn't write that stuff! I had to watch it twice. Unreal! That horse was TICKED! :D

reply

I rewound that part a few times to make sure it wasn't a Cartoon I was watching because hell. I don't feel like it was real but that was well played either way. For such a serious guy. Also thinking about how he said he'd never been injured inside the gym and reluctant to tell how he actually slipped on ice outside of the gym. Even more looney tune antics.

reply

The thing that struck me as particularly "karmic" was that he had LIGHTLY abused the horse a few minutes earlier in the film. He had taken a healthy swat at it to make it get along for some reason. At the time I was thinking that it seemed he was being a bit cavalier with the animal...just the impression I got.

Well...it seems like horsie got his revenge. 

Knew there would be a thread on this. I half felt bad for him, half laughed. I laughed cause he rode off so vigorously to get away from the crew and I looked at the horse and felt sorry for it as his weight looked to be bending it in half then almost as my thought finished, the horse started bucking and bam, haha.

Same thing happened to me on Red Dead Redemption once, I shot the horse 4 times with my rifle and skinned it. I hope Branch's horse got off lighter than that, a lot lighter.
