This is making me scratch my head still. The other two were very easy to figure out, but I'm still confused as to how Daniel died. There are many, many hints that all point to different possibilities.
But I can't seem to put my finger on exactly how he died!
Daniel is only being used as a pawn to help "save" John.
shareI think it had something to do with him running off and John not being able to find him. I'm guessing it was like the woods or something and died from dehydration or hypothermia. The song talks about him losing his shoe and not having anywhere to sleep. But it was a clean natural death that John blames himself for.
