Music

I'll start this by saying that I thought the songs were really incredible-- there was such a continuity and sense of aesthetic throughout the whole score. I have to say that I wasn't blown away by the music in Repo (I thought some songs-- specifically Zydrate Anatomy-- were great, but in all, the music didn't leave me with much of an impression). The music here, though, was really haunting. Even the songs that didn't stand out upon the first viewing have really stayed with me. "In All My Dreams I Drown" is gorgeous, and "A Penny for a Tale" might be one of the best musical performances I've seen in recent film (great job, Ivan Moody)!

For fans of the music, like me, I recommend you check out the film "Marat/Sade," directed by Peter Brook. It's based on a stage play and uses the music from the original production, written by Dick Peaslee. Incredible songs with a similar style-- both Marat/Sade and this are strange films with unconventional music, but I think fans of this might like that film too.

I disagree. I really loved a majority of the music in Repo, but I felt like most of the songs here were on par with the worst that one had to offer. I just watched it and I've already forgotten most of them.

I loved the visual aesthetic of the movie and I thought the story had some interesting ideas but after Repo (one of my favorite movies) this was just a colossal disappointment.
