The daughter was dispicable! How could she try and off her family?

Over a boy? What in the world is the matter with Erin Caffey? Some kind of 16 year old psychopath? It's the only thing that can explain this!

This was my problem with this episode. It didn't show Erin for the monster she is. They even had her dad defending her, and her dead mother making excuses for her. What really bugged me, was when the dad remembered making a mental note, of needing to keep a close eye on the boyfriend. Well, really. How about keeping an eye on that little she devil? She was the mastermind behind every single thing, and then she had sex with her boyfriend, and then she hid like a little wuss. I might not feel so strongly if it had been just the parents, but no, she wanted the whole family wiped out. Just gone. I live in east Texas, so I remember when this happened, and the show left out a few important details. 1st of all, the parents, especially the dad, were very domineering, and IMO, this played a part in their daughter's rage...not being able to make her own decisions and pick her own boyfriend. The dad is a victim, I understand that, but to this day, he refuses to accept that just maybe, he was wrong. He's a MAN, by God, and he's the head of the household, and even if they all get murdered because he won't budge and inch, he's still right. I can see why Erin felt so suffocated and wronged, but in the end, she was nothing but a selfish little monster. Where was her love for her little brothers? Well, they're gone for good, but she still has her daddy's love and support. She has been forgiven, so all is well.
