Mackenzie's mom

I wonder at the end of the film whether Mackenzie finds her mother easily. The fact that she checked out of the treatment center with no contact info makes me wonder if she was okay or if she'd had a relapse (possibly with drugs). From her phone call with Mackenzie it sounded like she didn't even have a house yet because she talked about getting one and being an outpatient. So do you think the mother would be easy to track down once Mackenzie returned to Seattle?
