I watch a lot of these types of shows and Eustace's fall is probably the first one I felt pretty bad about. He might be pretty messed up from head to toe after that. I hope he's alright. I mean he's probably the only reason worth watching this show now.

I don't know about head to toe but it did look serious even though he did not fall far. I don't think he is all that active unlike Marty and under the layers of clothing he is probably out of shape. I know from a recent fall (I am not elderly or close to it) it was much harder on my body than a fall would have been if I were younger and far more active. I think he will be alright but the fall may tend to limit his movement form here on in.
shareWell he landed on a large flat rock I believe. It was a short drop but I think it comes down to just how he landed. Did he fall flat and his body kinda absorbed it or did a shoulder or hip take the brunt of it? I think we usually land with an outreached arm so hopefully his face and teeth didn't get too badly damaged. He probably atleast broke a wrist. I had a friend fall off a ladder recently and he completely annihilated his wrist. I tripped and fell while jogging once and broke mine. I just hopped back up laughing, took a day before I realized I broke it. Lots of little bones in there that can take a very long time to heal so I don't think he'll be climbing ladders for a while.
When you fall and don't say anything to your buddy like in his case, it's not a good sign at all. These shows like to make you think someone's near death at every turn but I don't think they had to butter this one up.

It looked like he bloodied his nose. I'm thinking it's not going to be a big deal. At least, I'm hoping. I like him and Preston (and Tom Oar) the most of all the characters and they're onscreen way too little as it is.
