shareThese shows are BEYOND fake, there's no real danger while taping. Is like Sam Kinison bit on feed the world commercials "hey cameraman give Hodgi one of your sandwiches" why don't they have a shower chase Eustice around the woods, that'd scare the hell outta him.

Mountain Men, Iceroad Truckers, Yukon Men, Bering See Gold, Zero Down Below, Alaskan Bush People, Yukon Gold, The Last Alaskan... It is all *beep* and greatly exaggerated.

I read that the Brown family in Alaska Bush People were in trouble with the federal government, because of taxes. They had claimed Alaska as their prime residence, apparently it isn't, it's California. They spend a couple of months in Alaska filming the show, but they live in warm, sunny, modern California.

Thanks for the link. These shows should state the truth, in large letters at the beginning of each program. I never accept any of these shows as programs of 'reality' tv. They're either scripted or scenes are manipulated. Or, as is the case with Mountain Men, the 'wild animals' such as black bears are actually trained by a man called Troy Hyde. Nothing's real.
