At the end of the episode where Tom 'chases' a black bear (that he believes was responsible for breaking into his tanning shed),I noticed that in the credits it said "Special thanks to Animals of Montana, Troy Hyde owner and head trainer". This is just another scripted show or show where scenes are manipulated. He had said that if he say the bear he'd shoot it, so why didn't he? Because it was a trained bear.

Good find! You must have recorded it (as fast as the credits go by).
I thought the scene odd. So when the credits rolled I saw the 'Special thanks', so I rewound and froze it. Yep, it's there. It'll be interesting to see if the head trainer takes part in more or all of the episodes.
Then who did all the damage to Tom's work shop? I think you are quite mistaken as I don't think the credits were at all referring to the damage done by the original bear, but merely a reenactment of the encounter. Tom in fact did kill the menace bear that tore up his tanning shed. Eat that Queenbee!
A real bear probably did tear apart his tanning shed. But when they showed Tom chasing a black bear, that bear was a trained one. That scene was scripted. I always watch the end credits of all these 'reality' shows.
