Questions...? Possible plot hole?

I watched the movie today, and it left me thinking. It was fairly boring to see the same story repeated with essentially the same reactions, but overall, the movie wasn't that bad imo. I was just wondering when the guy goes to see Lindsay, the married college professor... if it turns out (as we saw with the last girl Bobbi) that he was recording all their conversations for his next book/article, then wouldn't Lindsay have seen a wire when she made him strip? I guess he could've taken it off without her noticing, but he had to reach behind him when we saw him take off the wire before, and she was watching him, so you'd think she'd see... Does anyone know how this could've worked? I'm probably just too picky with details, but it bugged me, sorry.

Also, at the end, which apparently is a "twist ending" (I didn't think it was much of a twist, I saw either scenario I thought it could mean happening) was the flight attendant looking at him and figuring out what he had done, how manipulative etc he was, how he treated women? I thought it was to signify that she would be another one of his (emotional terrorism) victims, but I read somewhere that someone thought she was becoming wise about his ways. I could see it being either, like I said, but which do you think/know it is?
