The Love Making Scenes Question (Spoilers)

What was it with Aiden keeping restraining Freya on the bed every time they made out? And the rape part, was it hate or spite of why he did that to her?

reply

You'll notice it wasn't just Aiden who was keen on restraining, Freya was too. I took their style of sex and the light rough play they engaged in in bed to be representative of their power struggles career wise.

I don't know if I'd call that other scene rape either. It would seem he performed unexpectedly rough, anal sex.

I agree about the restraining. They both liked it. It's about dominating. There are people out there who love that. Men and women. To each own as long as it doesn't cross the line which it clearly did and he knew it!

I thought it was rape. First I thought he seemed a bit hammered. That with being pissed off are never a good mixes. I got the feeling he wanted to be understanding but her not backing him up and then the conversation in bed about how much she was enjoying the feel of empowerment of her work push him more over the edge. It was like he was going to show her who had the power. He knew he did wrong cause he cried over it and said sorry the next day. Mind you he tried to minimize it and didn't want to take responsibility for it...."we all do thing we're not proud of."

reply

Nope, that was anal rape.

reply

Anal is not something that you do to your partner without explicit permission and should involve a lot more prep than a bit of spit on your hand. She didn't say no but he was clearly doing it to hurt her. Not sure if I would say that it is a super clear cut case of rape but it was absolutely abusive.

reply

I agree!!! Not rape but not ok. And with her crying made me feel bad for her.
