Oh god, David Tennant again!

Doesn't the UK have any other actors?

reply

lol,

Now this wont hurt... Much

not like him. no one is like him.
What kind of angel are you? We're the friggin' Winchesters!

reply

I take that back. I think he is actually very good in this role.

reply

No - he's risking over-exposing himself in too many roles.

reply

What would be the appropriate amount of roles for an actor to take on in what sort of time frame.

reply

He must be one of our busiet actors. I love David Tennant, but, every time I switch the tele on since he finished Doctor Who he is either A) on yet another show or B) it's being annouced he is filming yet another role. It's lucky he is a great actor otherwise he runs the risk of being on too much

reply

I wish we had David Tennant overload. He's only had one series here in the states and that was on BBC-America last year.
I miss Tennant as Dr. Who foremost, and in all the series that you Brits seem to be complaining over. He's great.

With Roku streaming NetFlix, Amazon Prime, Acorn, and others - we've been able to see lots of David Tennant here in the USA, plus being featured on PBS on Masterpiece.

reply

Since your comment, he's been in the US remake of Broadchurch (Gracepoint on Fox) and Netflix's "Jennifer Jones" as Kilgrave.

Benedict Cumberbatch

This is a wee bit late, but PBS is just airing this. Even though it seems like actors are doing role after role(back to back), some of these movies/tv actually were made months/years ago & they sit on the shelf til the studios put them out. This doesn't go for everything, obviously. But that's what happened with Jude Law a few years back, as well as George Clooney.
