What was the price that Jane had to pay?

I know that Gavin mentioned that Jane would have to pay in order to bring Henry back to life. My guess would be is that she had to create an heir to Gavin's throne in order to rule the Earth and bring it to its knees.

No that was not the price. Notice how different she is? The price that she paid was her kindness and caring were taken and in there place was left evil. However from the looks she was giving Gavin it looks like there might be some left behind. The old Jane cared nothing for riches and what new Jane was on about having.

reply

I don't think she paid the price with her kindness and caring at all. In the year that past she just turned into a colder, more evil version of herself.

The price was she would give Gavin a child for her future plans.

I didn't read anything into the little look potentially overthrowing Gavin. That doesn't seem possible, there was no hint at all as to how she could do this.

reply

I agree with the others, I think the price to pay was, as someone else said, to become Gavin's heir. With her new son it could be an unholy triumvirate to rule the world!

reply

They make it pretty clear that the price she had to pay was she now works with Gavin to grant peoples' desires at a cost. She's the heir to the business, just as her child will be after her.

Where did you all watch the final episodes I have only seen up to episode 11?

I don't think the price has been paid yet. Gavin seems to collect late, just before death. I think the looks she was giving is that she plans to overthrow Gavin just like Gavin over threw that dude. Who needs his old ass around once the anti-christ is born?

hello, good question but it was quite clear that the price was she would stay and help gavin and be part of the drake forever....that is a huge price and that is all there is to it....the kid and turning cold are by products and inevitable :?

I concur with all the previous posts. In my opinion, Jane's price is both becoming Gavin's heir (along with her baby) and losing her goodness/kindness/humanity.
