Sasha/Laurel
Her entire existence and storyline on the show annoyed me to no end. Especially the way Olivia handled it. I guess it makes sense Gavin would just ban her immediately from their lives when she tries to kill them. Not sure what was happening when Sasha tried to kill Olivia (did she somehow figure out Olivia KNEW gavin was evil and didnt care?) But the whole sending Sasha away punishing her for trying to kill them..that was so effing retarded. Olivia is all devastated about losing Sasha. Even Gavin admitted to being extremely sad in his own twisted way. And Gavin pretty much admits in the series the only thing he gives one real kind of emotion about is Olivia and her feelings. Then all of a sudden both parents are totally cool with just saying Bye cya later, go down these stairs to Hell or whatever. Instead of maybe being like hm.... our daughter is back... she was sad we are evil...maybe we should exlain to her everything she doesnt know...and if she still cant handle it....lets send her back to LA (she said she was from LA, maybe thats another dumb goof in this show) and that she was staying in NY for two weeks and ended up staying longer....thats when she was first introduced in the show as Henry's PR. But just send her far away. Dont effing torture youre daughter because she happens to not accept evil.
And how Olivia just stood there, looking like she was half farting/half trying to think but its too difficult for her dumb, old, fat lazy rich ass park ave wife to utter a thought or emotino in Gavins presence and just said ya listen to your father honey...bye... ive wante you back since you died but....daddy says you have to go......oh yay am i still rich and ale to afford spanx and botox? Olivia's character is worse than Gavin. Gavin is obviously the devil, or a Demon and he admits hes evil. She is just some stupid woman who loves living the way she does and will lose who she is completely even with the devil on HER side doesnt stand up for herself or her daughter. This episode made me want to stop wathching.
But Jane who is suddenly Gavins daughter as well, somehow goes from being mid-west, cautious, good girl, hates lying or being lied to is completely trusting of Gavin. I think they wrote her being the daughter of Gavin late into the first seaosn. That seemed rushed tome. I think she was always supposed to be related to someone that had to do with the Drake but not necessarily Gavins daughter. Nothing was implied with that until the very last episode. I wonder if Jane had decided she wasnt into being evil if they would send her down the spiral staircase too/? Or because its Gavins daughter aside from Olivia he would give her a second chance or something.
Whatever. I wanted to like this show but Olivia, the Sasha storyline and how it was handled and Jane's overall character was just too annoying. And not well written. Or well acted. Some of it was fun to watch but most of it really irked me. If they hadnt have gotten rid of Sasha and Olivia showed some backbone and Jane wasnt this wishy washy dumb ass the whole time I may have liked it better.
