A Jumbled up Mish-Mash of a film

That's how I remember it too. Still liked it. Loved the cheetahs running in the desert.

Ridley’s skill has always been creating amazing worlds, particularly nasty and unsympathetic ones. The Counselor might be his most bleak.

The Counselor does a good deed and the it leads him down a path of annihilation and despair from which there is no escape. Evil predators devour the innocent for sport.

The film is pure nihilism, but I keep coming back to it for the hilariously pretentious dialogue and sheer unpleasantness of its universe.
