Seven Days

Similar to the series SEVEN DAYS.

Yes and no. There are several main similarities as would be expected with 1/2 of the time travel shows/movies made. Starting with the premise of "fixing something that went wrong"

Similarities to Seven Days:
Military run/funded time travel project (also Quantum Leap, Stargate)
Go back in time to fix something wrong a horrible event (also Quantum Leap)
Military or Ex-Military Misfit is recruited for the time-travel project

Similarities to Quantum Leap:
Time traveler(s) walk directly into the time-stream flow, not directly siting or entering a device or vehicle. (also time tunnel. Stargate somewhat although they didn't travel through time each trip)
No control over the destination (also time tunnel, voyagers)
Communication with the "current" timezone where the project is located

More similarities to "The Time Tunnel" (a '60s series):
Massive underground complex funded by the military.
The main characters walk into a "time tunnel" to go back in time.
No control over where the time jump goes or how long they stay.
Able to communicate with present-day home base.
Somehow the characters always jumped into historically important time periods and locations and had to save or restore the time line.

There was nothing new about "Rewind", it would have had to survive on the characters and their chemistry. The writing would have been everything.

Only difference was that Seven Days was actually a good show.

Really they put a hell of a lot more work into it than the Seven Days crew did regarding Time Travel.

"Seven Days" started out well, but the writing deteriorated to the point where the show really did need to die. That's the biggest problem with time travel shows. You are basically telling the same story each week ("save the present by fixing the past").
