SyFy are trying to replace Stargate, they just need to make another stargate series instead of making these.

Though it wasn't bad. Just goes to show that SyFy have no idea wtf they are doing. It was a pretty decent show.

SyFy destroyed the "Stargate" franchise when they decided to make "Stargate: Universe" into a BSG-type gritty drama.

Nobody at SyFy really understands SF anymore. It's just a bunch of network hacks studying the ratings each week to see what "sticks".

SGU would have been fine, if it didn't take itself so seriously. Just took to long for them to form any kind of plot and the melodramatic end of episode songs were killers.

What did you expect when the new president of the channel said she wanted to take the Science fiction out of the Sci-fi Channel? (hence the name change to SyFy back then).

And they had WWE on Friday nights, afterall.
